Cam Chain Tension Adjuster Inspection
The cam chain tension adjuster is maintained at the proper tension automatically1) Remove the cam chain tension adjusterRefer to "Engine Top Side Disassembly (Page 1D-10)"2) Check that the push rod slides smoothly when releasing stopper (1)If it does not slide smoothly, replace the cam chain tension adjuster with new one

Cam Chain Guide Inspection
Inspect the cam chain guide in the following procedures: 1) Remove the cam chain guidesRefer to "Engine Top Side Disassembly (Page 1D-10)"2) Check the contacting surface of the cam chain guideIf it is worn or damaged, replace it with new one
