Cylinder Head Cover Distortion 1) Remove the cylinder head coverRefer to "Engine Top Side Disassembly (Page 1D-10)"2) Remove sealant from the mating surface of the cylinder head cover3) Place the cylinder head cover on surface plate and check for distortion with the thickness gaugeIf the distortion exceeds the limit, replace the cylinder head coverSpecial tool0990020803 (Thickness gauge) Cylinder head cover distortion Service limit: 0.05 mm (0.002 in)
