Throttle Cable Play Inspection and Adjustment
Inspect throttle cable play Initially at 200 km (100 miles, month) and every 000 km (600 miles, months) thereafter Inspect and adjust the throttle cable play "a" as followsThrottle cable play "a" 3.0 5.0 mm (0.12 0.20 in)

3) Start the engine and set the engine idle speed between 400 and 600 rmin by turning the throttle stop screw knob (1)Engine idle speed 500 100 rmin Special tool0990026006 (Engine tachometer (solar cell type))0990025008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
1) Remove the boot (1)2) Loosen the lock-nut (2) of the throttle cable3) Turn the adjuster (3) in or out so that the throttle cable play "a" at the throttle lever end is between mm (0.12 0.20 in)4) Tighten the lock-nut (2) while holding the adjuster (3)
