ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Step 1) Measure the battery voltage between input lead wires (OW and BW) at the CDI unit with the ignition switch in the "ON" positionIs the voltage OK? YES NO Go to Step Faulty ignition switch Faulty remote engine stop switch Faulty engine stop switch Broken wiring harness or poor connection of related circuit couplers
Step 1) Measure the ignition coil primary peak voltage(
NOTE: This inspection method is applicable only with the multi-circuit tester and the peak volt adaptorIs the peak voltage OK? YES NO Go to Step 4Go to Step 5
Step 1) Inspect the spark plug( Is the spark plug OK? YES NO
Go to Step 6Faulty spark plug
