CYLINDER HEAD With the head snugly seated on the cylinder, secure it by tightening the bolts in diagonal stagesTighten the cylinder head bolts diagonally to the specified torque Cylinder head bolt Initial: 25 Nm (2.5 kgf-m, 18.0 Ib-ft) Final: 47 Nm (4.7 kgf-m, 34.0 Ib-ft) NOTE:Apply engine oil to the threaded parts of the cylinder head bolts and both sides of the its washers Be sure to install the washer with rounded side facing up
ICAUTION I
Use new copper washers to prevent oil leakage
After tightening the cylinder head bolts to specification, tighten the cylinder head bolts G) and cylinder bolts (2) to the specified torque
