INSPECTION
BATTERY CURRENT LEAKAGE Remove the seat(!7-5) Turn the ignition switch to the OFF positionDisconnect thebattery lead wire 1Measure the current between thebattery terminal and the battery lead wire using the multi circuit testerIf the reading exceeds the specified value, leakage is evident# Battery current (leak): Under 1.0 mA09900-25008: Multi circuit tester set Tester knob indication: Current (&, 20 mA) Because the current leak might be large, turn the tester to the high range first to avoid tester damage Do not turn the ignition switch to the ON position when measuring currentWhen checking to find the excessive current leakage, remove the couplers and connectors, one by one, checking each partREGULATED VOLTAGE Remove the seat(!7-5) Remove the battery holder 1Shift the transmission to the neutral positionStart the engine, turn the ignition switch to LIGHT(') and the dimmer switch to HI and run the engine at 000 rminDC mA
