CHARGING SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION
The charging system consists of generator, regulatorrectifier, and batteryThe AC current, which is generated by the generator, is converted by the regulatorrectifier into DC currentThe regulatorrectifier is one unit which has two functionsThe regulator prevents overcharging of the battery by grounding the excessive AC currentThe rectifier changes the AC current, which is produced by the generator, to the DC currentAll of these components work together to maintain correct and constant voltage and to prevent the battery from overcharging
