INSPECTION AND REASSEMBLY
Inspect the boots for wear or damage, if any defects are foundreplace the boots with new onesInspect the circlip, snap ringand boot bands for wear or dam age, if any damag is foundreplace the circlip, snap ring, and boot bands with new onesInspect the axle play by using pushandpull motion given to the axle shaft and wheel spindle, as shown
NOTE: Wash the disassembled parts (except for the boot)After washing, dry the parts completely using compressed airClean the boots with clothDo not wash the boots in any commercially available degreaser, such as gasoline or keroseneWashing in degreaser causes deterioration of the boot
