OIL INDICATOR LIGHT THERMO-SWITCH OR COOLING FAN THERMO-SWITCH
REMOVAL Remove the rear fender(See p6-6 Remove the thermo switch after disconnecting the lead wire coupler
INSPECTION
The thermo switch must be checked for its termperature-initiated closing action at the specification value of 160C or 120C (320F or 248F) by testing it at the bench as shownConnect the switch to the pocket tester and raise the temperature of the oil in the panWhen the switch closesread the column thermometerThermo-switch specification (for E-03, 28, 33)
