Measure the thinner point of the solder using the point micrometerNOTE: The backlash is measured by the thickness of the crashed solder
If the backlash is not within the specification, the shims must be changed and the backlash should be rechecked until correctRefer to the chart below for the appropriate changesStandard Front differential right side gear backlash: 0.05-0.1 mm (0.002-0.004 in)
NOTE: When changing the shims, measure the thickness of the old shimUsing the thickness of the old shims as guide, adjust the backlash by referring to the chart below
