PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Close the air bleeder valve, and disconnect the hoseFill the reservoir with brake fluid to the top of the inspection window
Air bleeder valve: 7.5 Nm (0.75 kg-m, 5.5Ib-ft)
I CAUTION I
Handle brake fluid with care: the fluid reacts chemically with paint, plastics, rubber materials, etc
BRAKE HOSES
Inspect every 000 km (1 200 miles, months)Replace every four years Remove the front fender(See pp6-3 to 6-5 Check the brake hoses for leakage, cracks, wear and damage If any defects are found, replace the brake hoses with new ones
