CHARGING SYSTEM
The charging uses the flywheel magneto as shown in the figureThe charging coil is mounted on the magneto stator and generates AC as the flywheel rotor turnsThis circuit is engaged by setting the ignition key to the ON positionAC generated in the charging coil flows to the regulatorrectifier where it is changed to DC and charging voltage is regulatedThis DC then charges the battery
