ELECTRICAL Conventional Battery InspectionRemoval
The battery is located on LH rear side of the vehicle, under the LR fender and above the clutch coverNOTE: Refill using only distilled waterTap water contains minerals which are harmful to batteryNOTE: Do not allow cleaning solution or tap water inside the batteryBattery life may be reduced5Reinstall the battery caps

1Clean battery cables and terminals with stiff wire brushCorrosion can be removed using solution of one cup water and one tablespoon baking sodaRinse well with clean water and dry thoroughly2Route the cables correctly3Reinstall battery, attaching positive (+) (red) cable first and then the negative (-) (black) cableCoat terminals and bolt threads with NyogelTM Grease (PN 2871329)4Install clear battery vent tube from vehicle to battery vent( if equipped)Inspect the battery fluid levelWhen the battery fluid nears the lower level, remove the battery and fill with distilled water only to the upper level lineTo remove the battery:
