ELECTRICAL RELAYS
Operation
The relays, located under the front storage box, assist with component operation such as the fan, fuel pump, etcThe fan relay, controlled by the ECU, operates the fan(Carbureted model also utilizes fan relay) The ECU relay, controlled by the key switch, operates the ECU The Ignition Coil and Fuel Pump relay, controlled by the ECU, turns on power for components such as the fuel pump, injectors, etcGrayBlack COLOR RedWhite
ECU RELAY
FUNCTION KEY-ON Battery power supply, switched on by the key and LH control switches, enables power to relayRelay "ON" commandThe ECU supplies ground which closes the relay, supplying power to run the fuel pump, injectors, etcFused 15-amp, unswitched battery power IN supply for EFI component operationEFI power output'ON' when ECU sends signal on the GRYW wire, closing the relaySupplies 15-amp power for ECU-operation of EFI components
