ELECTRICAL 2Programmable Service IntervalDiagnostic Mode Service IntervalThe purpose of the programmable service interval is to provide the consumer and the dealer with convenient way to schedule routine maintenanceWhen the ATV leaves the factory, this feature is set at "50 hours"When the first 50 hours of engine operation are finished the wrench icon will flash for 10 seconds each time the ATV is started as reminder that ATV maintenance is dueNOTE: To reset the Service Interval, follow the directions for "SETTING NEW SERVICE INTERVAL" later in this chapter3Check Engine Warning Indicator The word HOT will display alpha numerically when the engine is overheatingDo not continue to operate the ATV if this warning appearsRefer to Chapter "COOLING SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING" for help with diagnosis of overheating4HighLow Battery Voltage This warning usually indicates that the ATV is being operated at an RPM too low to keep the battery chargedA low battery warning may also occur under normal operation if the machine is at idle and high electrical load (lights, cooling fan, accessories) is appliedDriving at higher RPM or connecting battery charger will usually clear the warning5Engine Hour Display Indicator Displays number of hours of engine operation6AWD Indicator Illuminates when the electrical portion of the AWD system is enabled7Gear Indicator Specifies what position the shift lever and transmission are inThis area is blank if fault occurs8Mode Indicator Indicates which modes are being utilized9Fuel Gauge The segments of the fuel gauge indicate the level of fuel in the fuel tankWhen the last segment clears, low fuel warning is activatedAll related icons will flash, "FUEL" will display in the LCD, and the speedometer needle will blinkIf riding, be sure to refuel immediately
