FINAL DRIVE 9Install the torsion spring by wrapping each leg of the spring around the dowel pin on the ring gear12Be sure the armature plate tabs are fully engaged into the roll cage assembly and are resting on the cutgrooves of the ring gear
Engage Tabs
10Align the spring retainer dowel pin with the ring gear dowel pin and install the retainer on top of the torsion spring
NOTE: Verify armature plate tabs are in the slots on the roll cage and are resting in the ring gear grooves13Install the output hub and cover plate assembly with new o-ring (arrow) onto the gearcase
