FINAL DRIVE 13Inspect the magnetic coil (A) in the outer cover plate assemblyInspect the backlash pad (B) for excessive wear16Remove the input shaft assemblyInspect the pinion gear (C) for chipped, broken, or missing teethInspect the input shaft bearing (D) for signs of wearReplace the input shaft cover O-ring prior to reassembly
