CLUTCHING Clutch Disassembly
1Remove driven clutch from the transmission input shaftDo not attempt disassembly of the driven clutch from the outside snap ringThe driven clutch must be disassembled from the helix side4Place the clutch into the Universal Clutch Compressor Tool PU-50518Press down on the top of the spider assembly, pushing the spider onto the shaftRemove snap ring (A) and slowly release the assemblyPU-50518
Do not disassemble from this side 2It is important to mark the position of the shaft, cam cover, and sheave before disassembly or use the X's on the components for referenceThis will aid in reassembly and helps to maintain clutch balance after reassemblyA Press down on spider
