CARBURATION AND FUEL SYSTEM 1Disconnect battery2Remove seat, side covers and front cab access to the fuel pumpSee chapter 5to gain 7Place the Fuel Pump Service Tool (PU-50326) over the fuel pump PFA nutUsing 12" drive ratchet or breaker bar, loosen and remove the PFA nutDiscard the PFA nut and use new PFA nut upon reinstallation of the fuel sending unitPFA Nut
3Ensure that static has been discharged from you by touching ground source such as the engine or frame4Disconnect the sending unit electrical harness5Place shop towel under fuel sending unit fitting and remove the hose clamp
