1Remove the shim washer (C) from the crankshaft5Measure the connecting rod big end radial clearanceBig End Radial Clearance: Std: .0004-.0015" (.011-.038 mm) Limit: .0020" (.05 mm) 6Inspect the crankshaft main bearing journals for scoring and abnormal wear2Support the PTO side crankcase and crankshaft; press the crankshaft outBe careful not to damage the crankcase mating surface or connecting rod3Use feeler gauge to measure the connecting rod big end side clearance
