ELECTRICAL Battery Conductance Analyzer
Conductance describes the ability of battery to conduct currentA conductance tester functions by sending low frequency AC signal through the battery and portion of the current response is captured, from this output conductance measurement is calculatedConductance testing is more accurate than voltage, specific gravity, or load testingAuthorized Polaris dealersdistributors are required to use the conductance analyzer when testing 12V Polaris batteriesNOTE: Allow the battery to stand disconnected for at least 1-2 hours after being properly chargedIf the voltage drops below 12.6 volts, charging was ineffective or the battery needs to be replaced
An overheated battery could explode, causing severe injury or deathAlways watch charging times carefullyStop charging if the battery becomes very warm to the touchAllow it to cool before resuming charging
