TRANSMISSION 19Remove the clutch shaft assembly from the housingThe forward gear assembly and bearings will remain on the shaft upon removal20Disassemble the clutch shaft as needed by removing both retaining rings and separating the high and low gears from the clutch shaftInspect all parts for wear or damage and replace as required22Locate the retaining ring on the shifter assembly and move the retaining ring out of the groove to allow the shifter assembly to slide out
