BODYSTEERINGSUSPENSION 25Install the reservoir capPush down on the reservoir cap using even pressure until the retaining ring groove is exposed26Install the retaining ring and check to make sure retaining ring is seated properly27Push the shock rod assembly completely into the shock bodyIt should go all the way down smoothly without interferenceIf it does not, disassemble and reassemble per this procedure28Secure the shock body in vise by its lower mount29Pressurize the shock reservoir through the Schrader valve using the Gas Shock Recharging Kit (PN 2200421)
CHARGE THE SHOCK USING NITROGEN GAS ONLYDO NOT FILL WITH ANY OTHER GASESDoing so compromises the performance of the shock and may be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! 31Reinstall the Schrader valve cap32Clean all oil residue from the shock and reservoir with solvent, and dry with low pressure compressed air in well ventilated area33Check shock for any leaks34Reinstall the compression spring and the spring retainer
