ENGINE NOTE: While installing in piston circlips, cover all engine passagesThe clip could fall into the engine during installation17Assemble rotors as marked when disassembledUse cleaner to remove the marks previously made on the rotorsLine Up Marks
18Apply assembly lube or oil to the rotors on the oil pump shaft16Install camshaft thrust plate (G) with new boltsTorque bolts to specificationNOTE: New bolts have patch lock on the threads and do not require LoctiteTMNOTE: The application of lubrication aids in priming the oil pump during initial engine start upLubricate Rotors
19Align the bolt holes and install oil pump assembly into crankcaseRotate the rotors in the housing during installation, as this checks for binding if new rotors are usedNOTE: For assembly of the gears, the cam gear and the crankshaft gear are stamped with "This Side Out"This indicates the side of the gear that faces outward or away from the case
