MAINTENANCE Throttle Pedal Inspection
If the throttle pedal has excessive play due to cable stretch or cable misadjustment, it will cause delay in throttle speedAlso, the throttle may not open fullyIf the throttle pedal has no play, the throttle may be hard to control, and the idle speed may be erratic3Remove the (2) push rivets retaining the air intake box and remove the box from the frame
4Throttle Pedal
Loosen the hose clamp retaining the PVT intake duct and remove the duct from the vehicle to access the throttle cable freeplay adjustment
Check the throttle pedal play periodically in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart and adjust the play if necessary
