ELECTRICAL Starter Motor RemovalReplacement
IMPORTANT: The starter motor and solenoid can not be servicedRemoving the black protective coating from the components will allow for premature component failureReplace the starter motor and solenoid as an assembly1234Remove the seat and the upper and lower LH side panelsDisconnect the battery negative (-) cableClean the area around the starter motorUsing an mm allen socket, with an extension, remove the (2) bolts retaining the starter motor89Install the new starter motor assembly by reversing this procedureBe sure to install new O-rings on the starter motor bell housingNEW O-Rings
