TRANSMISSION 6Align the timing marks on the cam shift shaft and bellcrank shift shaftAlign Marks
Install the retaining nut and torque to specification
Bellcrank Retaining Nut: 15 ftlbs(20 Nm) 10Install the washer and new retaining ring onto the cam shift shaftThe retaining ring should be tight on the shaft11Install the transmission switch, washer and snap ringWasher Snap Ring
Place the two shafts into the transmission as an assembly
Detent Plug
12Install the detent plug and torque to specification
Detent Plug: 17-23 ftlbs(23-31 Nm) 13Assemble the input shaft and reverse shaft with the lower shift fork and park pawl installed
