123Remove the seat and upper right-hand side panelDisconnect the shift linkage from the shift leverRemove the spark plug capsClean plug area so no dirt and debris can fall into engine when plugs are removed4If necessary, replace spark plug with proper typeCAUTION: Severe engine damage may occur if the incorrect spark plug is used

567Apply small amount of anti-seize compound to the spark plug threadsInstall spark plugs and torque to specificationMake sure the high tension leads are retained by the airboxUsing 14 mm deep-well socket with an extension, remove the spark plug
