Use Polaris corrosion resistant Nyogel grease (PN 2871329) on battery boltsSee Battery Installation1Disconnect holder strap and remove covers2Disconnect battery negative (-) (black) cable first, followed by the positive (+) (red) cableCAUTION Whenever removing or reinstalling the battery, disconnect the negative (black) cable first and reinstall the negative cable last! 3Remove the battery4Remove the filler caps and add distilled water only as needed to bring each cell to the proper levelDo not overfill the batteryRefill using only distilled waterTap water contains minerals which are harmful to batteryDo not allow cleaning solution or tap water inside the batteryBattery life may be reduced5Reinstall the battery caps
