ENGINE 4Install the crankcase flange bolts and tighten in steps following the pattern on Page 3.2 to specified torqueCrankcase Bolt Torque: 14 ftlbs(19 Nm)

Mechanical Seal
WATER PUMP MECHANICAL SEAL INSTALLATION
1Clean the seal cavity to remove all traces of old sealer2Place new mechanical seal in the seal drive collar, and install on the pump shaft3Screw the guide onto the end of the pump shaft4Install the washer and nut and tighten to draw seal into place until fully seated5Remove the guide adaptor using the additional nut as jam nut if necessary
1After the coolant has been drained, remove the water pump cover, impeller and the sealing washer(Ill1)
