PRE-RIDEDAILY INSPECTION
Perform the following pre-ride inspection daily, and when servicing the vehicle at each scheduled maintenanceG Tirescheck condition and pressures Fuel and oil tanksfill both tanks to their proper level; Do not overfill oil tank All brakescheck operation (includes auxiliary brake) Throttlecheck for free operation HeadlightTaillightBrakelightcheck operation of all indicator lights and switches Engine stop switchcheck for proper function Wheelscheck for loose wheel nuts Air cleaner elementcheck for dirt or water; clean or replace Steeringcheck for free operation, noting any unusual looseness in any area Loose partsvisually inspect vehicle for any damaged or loose nuts, bolts or fasteners Engine coolantcheck for proper level at the recovery bottle
