6-9 Mounting the timing gear
Make sure the woodruff key is fully seated in the crankshaft Heat the timing gear and slip it onto the crankshaft with the high collar on the insideCarefully tap with suitable pipe if necessary Mount the circlip with the sharp edge on the outside
CAUTION
SURE THE TENSIONING RAIL OPERATES SMOOTHLY AFTER TIGHTENING
Degrease the screw threads (M6x25) and apply Loctite 243Screw on the timing chain guide and tensioning rail and tighten the screws to NmRemember to mount the bushings
