Install NEW circlip on the end of the shaft
Circlip Complete disassembly of the CV joint is NOT recommendedThe internal components are precision fit and develop their own characteristic wear patternsIntermixing the internal components could result in looseness, binding, andor premature failure of the jointIMPORTANT: If the grease in the joint is obviously contaminated with water andor dirt, the joint should be replacedInspect the grease
The grease provided in the replacement kit is specially formulated for wear resistance and durabilityDO NOT use substitutes or mix with other lubricantsNOTE: The amount of grease that's provided with the boot kit is pre-measured, so use all the greaseCV Boot Replacement Kit
Thoroughly clean the joint with an appropriate solvent and dry the joint to prevent any residual solvent from being left in the joint upon reassemblyVisually inspect the joint for damageReplace if needed
