A-arm Removal and Inspection
12Elevate and safely support vehicleRemove the front wheel(s)Remove the upper and lower ball joint cotter pins (A) from the ball joint studs (BC) at wheel end of AarmRemove the ball joint nuts until the nuts are flush with end of the ball joint studsPush up on the upper A-arm (D) to remove the A-arm from the steering knuckle (E)Push down on the lower A-arm (F) to remove the A-arm from the steering knuckle (E)Refer to "Steering KnuckleRemoval" procedure on page 5.7G 6Examine Aarm shafts (I)Replace if wornDiscard hardwareD A
