MAINTENANCE Front Spring Preload Adjustment
The front suspension spring preload may be adjusted to suit different conditions and operator weight
Rear Suspension Set-Up
123Position the vehicle on level surfaceStop the engineElevate the rear of the vehicle by placing suitable jack stand under the frame
Uneven adjustment may cause poor handling of the ATV, which could result in an accident and serious injury or deathAlways adjust both the left and right spring preloads equally or have your Polaris dealer perform the adjustments12Raise and safely support the front of the ATV off the ground to allow the suspension to fully extendLoosen the upper jam nut adjustment ringTurn the lower adjustment ring (1) clockwise to increase preload or counter-clockwise to decrease preload
NOTE: The tires should barely touch the ground and the suspension should be at full rebound4Measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the rear lower control arm pivot boltNote this measurement for later use
