"MXR""S" Models The battery is located under the LH rear fender of the ATV4Clean battery cables and terminals with stiff wire brushCorrosion can be removed using solution of one cup water and one tablespoon baking sodaRinse well with clean water and dry thoroughlyTest battery for condition and charge accordingly (refer to the "Electrical" chapter for battery testing)If required, charge battery at 110 of its amphour ratingExample: 110 of 14 amp battery1.4 amp Reinstall battery, attaching positive (+) red cable first and then the negative () black cableCoat terminals and bolt threads with Dielectric Grease (PN 2871329)Reinstall battery holder strap and reassemble the ATV
