1Install new spring ring on drive shaftApply an anti-seize compound to splines5Install the upper pinch bolt and torque to 17 ftlbs(23 Nm)Align splines of drive shaft with front gearcase and reinstall the drive shaftUse rubber mallet to tap on the outboard end of the drive shaft if necessary
