Measure trigger coil gap with feeler gaugeThe gap should be 0.41.2 mm (0.015.047 in
Ignition Output Test Using Gap Tester
Re-connect all wiresDisconnect spark plug wire from the spark plugConnect gap tester lead to engine ground and the other to the ignition coil primary wire leading from the coilCrank engine and check outputSpark should jump 14" (6mm) gapReconnect coil wire
