ELECTRICAL ACTIVE DESCENT CONTROL (ADC) COIL
Operation OverviewEFI Only
RH Switch must be set to 4x4ADC' Pin #5 on the ECU controls the power to the ADC hub coil for operation Pin #26 on the ECU controls the ground to the ADC hub coil for operation ECU senses the gear signal indicating the transmission is engaged and is not in Park or Neutral ECU senses the speed sensor signal for determining if vehicle speed is below 15 Mph (24 Kph)ADC will cancel if speed is above 15 Mph (24 Kph) ECU determines if the TPS position is at idle' and will cancel ADC operation if TPS moves off idle' position System must be grounded to operate
ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD) COIL
Operation Overview
Switch must be set to 4x4' or 4x4ADC'12Vdc power is present at the AWD hub coil The instrument cluster senses grounding at pin #16AWD icon should turn on at the instrument cluster System must be grounded to operate
