1Inspect inlet and outlet check valves for cracks, warping or damage2Inspect the diaphragms for cracks, holes or swelling3To clean the valves or pump body, remove the set screw and washerRemove the valve assembly and wash with soap and waterNOTE: Carburetor cleaner may used to clean the pump body when the check valves are removed

123Disconnect the negative battery cableRemove the side panels and front cab assemblyRefer to Chapter for detailsRemove the gas tank cover vent hoseBe sure to properly route the vent hose upon reassembly
