Blink CodesOperation
To enable the blink codes, turn the ignition from "OFF" to "ON" times, leaving it 'on' the 3rd time, within secondsAny "blink codes" that are stored in the ECU will display, one at time, in numerical orderThe word WAIT' will appear on the LCD display and the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or Check Engine light will begin to flashRead and record the number of flashes of the MIL lightA code 12' indicates the beginning of the diagnostic sequenceA code 61' will flash after all codes have been transmittedMalfunction Indicator Light (MIL) Diagnostic Example
