FUEL INJECTION Initial PrimingStarting Procedure
NOTE: The Injection system must be purged of all air prior to the initial start up, andor any time the system has been disassembledIf the EFI system is completely empty of fuel or has been disassembled and repaired: 1Cycle the key switch from "OFF" to "ON" times, waiting for approximately seconds at "ON" and seconds at "OFF" in sequence to allow the fuel pump to cycle and shut downOnce step is completed, turn the key switch to "START" until the engine starts or seconds has passedIf the engine failed to start, repeat step for more cycles and attempt to start the engine

Quick Connect RemovalInstallation CAUTION
Verify fuel system has been depressurized before performing this procedureSportsman 500 EFI models use quick connect fuel linesRefer to the steps for fuel line removalinstallation: 1Thoroughly clean the connectorPlace shop towel around the fuel line to catch any dripping fuelSqueeze the connector tabs together and push the locking tab outPull out on the fuel line for removalTo install the line, verify the connector and nipple are clean and free of debrisSnap the fuel line back over the nipple, verify the connector tabs snap back into place
