MAINTENANCE Transmission Lubrication
To change lubricant: 1Place drain pan beneath the transmission oil drain plug areaClean around the drain plug and remove the drain plug and wipe the magnetic end clean to remove all accumulated metallic filings=TransmissionSpecified Lubricant: Polaris AGL Gearcase Lubricant (GallonPN 2873603) (12 oz- PN 2873602) TransmissionCapacity: 32 oz(948 ml)
Transmission DrainFill Plug Torque: 20-25 ft.lbs(27-34 Nm)
The transmission lubricant level should be checked and changed in accordance with the maintenance scheduleTo check the level: 1234Be sure vehicle is level before proceeding Clean around fill plug areaRemove fill plug located on the left side of the ATVFluid should be filled to bottom of fill plug hole threadsAdd the proper lubricant as required to bring level into operating range as shown3Drain Plug After the oil has drained completely, install new sealing washer (if installed) and install the drain plugTorque to specificationAdd the proper lubricant through the fill plug hole until the oil level is to the bottom of the fill plug hole threadsDo not overfillOil Fill Plug Oil Fill Plug
