ELECTRICAL Standard Display Modes
Use the mode button (location shown in the illustration on page 10.5) to toggle through the mode optionsOdometer Mode The odometer records the miles or kilometers traveled by the vehicleTrip Meter Mode The trip meter records the miles or kilometers traveled by the vehicle on each trip if it's reset before each tripTo reset the trip meter, select the trip meter modePress and hold the mode button until the display reads 0NOTE: In the Rider Information Display, the trip meter display contains decimal point, but the odometer displays without decimal pointHour Meter Mode This mode logs the total hours the engine has been in operationTachometer Mode The engine RPM is displayed digitallyNOTE: Small fluctuations in the RPM from day to day may be normal because of changes in humidity, temperature and elevationClock Mode The clock displays time in 12-hour formatTo reset the clock, see "Clock Screen" in the "Diagnostic Display Mode" sectionClock Screen
To reset the clock: 1234Enter the diagnostic modeToggle to the clock screenPress and hold the mode button until the hour display flashesRelease the buttonPress and release the mode button once to advance the setting by one hourPress and hold the mode button to advance the hours quicklyWhen the desired hour is displayed, wait approximately four seconds, until the minute display flashesWhen the display stops flashing, the mode has been setUse the same procedure to reset the minutes
