BRAKES MASTER CYLINDER
Removal
1Locate the master cylinder above the LH front tire in the wheel well areaMaster Cylinder
CAUTION
Brake fluid will damage finished surfacesDo not allow brake fluid to come in contact with finished surfacesNOTE: Make note of front and rear brake line locations to master cylinder4Loosen the brake line banjo bolts (C) and allow fluid to drainRemove the two mounting fasteners (D) that secure the master cylinder to the frame
NOTE: Dispose of fluid properlyDo not re-use5
Installation
12Reverse Steps 1-5 for master cylinder installationRefer to the torque specifications in the illustrationAfter installing the foot brake check pedal freeplayPedal freeplay should not exceed .090" (2.286 mm)
