TRANSMISSION 11Install the outer sleeve screws and inner shift detent screws, springs, and balls from each side of the shift housingUse new o-rings anytime these screws are removedTorque the outer sleeve screws to specificationTURN INNER DETENT SCREWS ONLY UNTIL LIGHT SHIFTING RESISTANCE IS FELT AT THIS TIMEPLACE THE TRANSMISSION IN NEUTRALNOTE: The clutch yoke side uses the short, "black" detent screw and the gear selector side detent uses the longer, "silver" detent screwT With the transmission in neutral, lubricate and install the thrust washer, drum gear, plate, springs, pins and the shift position sensoro-ring assembly into the shift housingVerify the shift drum pins are aligned as shown with the transmission in neutralTorque the retaining screws to specification=Apply Lubricant to shift drum components
