FINAL DRIVE 5Inspect the ring gear teeth for chipped, worn, or broken teethIf damaged, replace the ring gear and pinion gear as setInspect 7Remove the input shaft seal using seal puller or other suitable method
NOTE: In the event damage to the gears or housing requires replacement, the entire assembly must be replaced6Remove the seals from each side of the gearcase housingReplace the o-ring in the gearcase coverInspect the input shaft by rotating the assembly in the gearcase housing while checking for any looseness or roughnessInspect the pinion gear teeth for chipped, worn, or broken teethIf damaged, replace the ring gear and pinion gear as set
