FINAL DRIVE 16Add any remaining grease to the boot17Pull the boot over the joint and position the boot lips into the grooves on the joint housing and shaftMake sure the boot is not dimpled or collapsed18Tighten the small clamp using an appropriate clamp pliers19Pull out on the drive shaft to center the joint in the housingSlide straight O-ring pick or small slotted screw driver between the large end of the boot and the joint housing and lift up to equalize the air pressure in the boot20Position the boot lip in its groove in the outer race and secure with boot clampApply Anti-Seize 2Align splines of drive shaft with rear gearcase and reinstall the drive shaftUse rubber mallet to tap on the outboard end of the drive shaft if necessary
