ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION TPS Initialization
NOTE: The correct TPS position is established and set at the factoryUse this procedure only if the TPS was repositioned, replaced or loosenedSTEP Establishing zero offset voltage: This step is crucial as it sets the TPS position using fixed physical stopThis will insure that the correct offset voltage is reached once the correct throttle body flow is setNOTE: Before proceeding, it's extremely important to verify the throttle body bore is clean of any carbon build-upRemove the intake boot and inspect the throttle body boreIf required, remove the throttle body and clean the bore7Open and close throttle plate couple of times to ensure full throttle closingDo not snap closed, as this could cause unnecessary throttle plate to throttle body interference and or damageAssemble the TPS Tester Harness (PU-47082) according to the instructionsRefer to "TPS Test Procedure" for proper tester set-upVerify that the volt battery is newDisconnect the vehicle harness from the TPS6Back out air flow screw until it no longer is in contact with throttle plate camThe throttle plate should seal off throttle bore completelyBack Air Flow Screw Out Until No Contact is Made
