ENGINE 32Before installing the gearstator housing cover, install the Water Pump Seal Saver (PA-45401) onto the water pump shaft

35Install the gearstator housing gasket onto he crankcaseGearStator Housing Gasket 33Install NEW gasket to the gearstator housing cover and crankcaseWith the tools installed, carefully place the gearstator housing cover over the protection tools
36Secure the gearstator housing cover to the crankcase with the cover boltsTorque bolts in proper sequence to specificationRemove seal protectors from the shaft ends once the cover is secure34Apply Crankcase Sealant (PN 2871557) to the outside edges of the crankcase halves (see arrows), where the crankcases mate (see the following photos)This helps to prevent coolant leakage
